Lots of Room! Shelves?

The only thing that I don't like is, The glass shelves are very thin. They flex down when loaded. This limits where I can put things. I have to put heavy things to the sides otherwise I forsee them braking. There is just a thin piece of plastic along the edge of the shelf which doesn't add any support to the glass. My old unit had a metal edge on the glass that added strength and no flex problems.

I've had this freezer for almost 1 month and I really impressed with the way it is working. The self closing door feature and the magnetic door seal are great. so far so good as being frost free and hopefully it will always work that way. I had a Frigidaire freezer for a number of years and it was supposed to be frost free and it never was the door seal never did seal right and I was constantly cleaning Ice build up off the top of the door and inside top of the freezer.This new freezer is great and I would recommend purchasing one!

We love the style. We purchased it from DT McCall's & Son. Carthage. It came with the temperature gauge upside down & the door couldn't be reversed for it had been dropped at some point before we received it, but they brought another one & it's great. Thanks I have not taken a picture of it as yet.

The freezer works perfectly mechanically, but the interior light never worked. We didn't even notice until we began loading it up. We called Frigidaire and the guy told us, 'Sorry, not covered by warranty, would you like to spend some money?" This made me sad and kept you from a 5 star rating.

We had chest freezers for years but things were getting freezer burnt of disappearing into the void of the bottomless pit that was our last deep freezer. We were so eager to get an upright one that now that it's here we almost don't have enough stuff to fill it with. The outside is pleasing to look out, with the practical temp read out on the exterior, the door opens easily without too much fight and the interior has SO MUCH ROOM!We are so happy we bought this model!

This just replaced another Frigidaire freezer that wasn't garage ready that we've had for over 15 years. There was nothing wrong with it, we just decided we wanted to upgrade to a garage ready since we live in FL and garages get VERY hot! We actually sold our old unit to a neighbor. We narrowed it down to a GE and the Frigidaire. Based on the wonderful experience we had with our 15 year old unit still going strong, we opted for the Frigidaire. Very well built. Seals much better than the older unit and we love the alarm feature. If you are looking to place a freezer in your garage, this should be your choice or on your short list!!!

Unit cooled down nice and quick and saved all my food from spoiling from my old freezer that died. I like the temp selector on the outside and even though the footprint of the unit is smaller than my other unit it is the same cubic feet inside so I love that we saved some space.

The freezer appears to have many innovative options, and for a decent price. However, the quality inspection at Frigidaire must have some flaws. My new freezer arrived in a well packaged container, but had damage to the door and also had wires hanging from the bottom of the door. I can only assume those things were there prior to shipment. I™™ve only had the freezer for about a month, but it appears to be working just fine. Only time will tell how well the Frigidaire design holds up but overall I am pleased with my purchase right now.

The metal shelving in our older upright Fridgeadair freezer held up to the weight a lot better than the glass shelving. I thought the new glass would be nice but it is bowing badly, keep waiting for it all to come crashing down.

I™™ve had freezers before that had the temperature control inside and that is very hard to get to when you have your food inside. This model is made so you can control the temperature on the door. And if anything goes below it has an alarm. Plus if the power goes off it is to stay cold for 2 hours.
